§ 07 · About this site

How we work.

Is Kaskas Smart PH free to use? +
Yes. Kaskas Smart PH is and will always be free for Filipino readers. We are funded entirely by display advertising — the labeled ad slots throughout the site. We do not use affiliate links, do not earn commissions on card applications, and do not sell user data.
Do you recommend specific cards? +
No. We document, we don't recommend. Every card page lays out fees, rates, and conditions as accurately as we can. We trust readers to weigh those facts against their own situation. Where we offer commentary, we are explicit that it is opinion, not financial advice.
How is this site different from MoneyMax or eCompareMo? +
Comparison sites in the PH market are predominantly affiliate-driven — they earn a commission when you apply for a card through their links, which creates a financial incentive to feature certain cards. Kaskas Smart PH does not. Our income comes from advertising, not card applications, so our card coverage is the same whether a card pays high commissions, low commissions, or none at all.
Where do you get the card information? +
Card data comes from issuing banks' published terms, BSP filings, and CCAP (Credit Card Association of the Philippines) disclosures. We update each card page within 30 days of any fee or rate change. If you spot something out of date, please report it — we credit corrections in the page footer.
Can I apply for a card through this site? +
No. Each card page links to the official application page on the issuing bank's website, but the link is purely informational — we do not earn anything when you click it, and you will not see any preferential treatment versus going directly to the bank. You apply through the bank, not through us.
